The Beach HouseThe beach house  is so still and quiet.  I walk in the sand,  my feet skimping through the water.  It's cool and smooth.   
As I walk past the palm trees,  I can feel the leaves gently  brush against my skin,  it's warm and ticklish.  The sand is hot-   
it bulges between my toes.  I skip around the piece of driftwood,  and listen to the waves,  so sound-filled and calm.  My hands caresses the seashells-   
little reminders of all the great times  and footsteps in the moist sand  that disappear when the tide comes in.  The seaweed smells f The Beach House

I Wish the Dirt Would StayThe rain trickles over the faded pink carrousel,  bringing with it a million memories  soaking into the ground below.  Slowly they come back  the vivid childhood images;  a little girl laughing  and her brown hair blowing in the wind.  Memories of happy times, careless times.  And the rain is washing all of it away,  like the dirt on my body,  
the dirt that still smells like being a kid.  Is the rain supposed to wash everything away for me?  Wash my soul away?  Sometimes I think it's the world's job  to make everyone miserable.  But of course that's just coming from a I Wish the Dirt Would Stay

Concrete MemoriesI love the rain,  and the river in the valley sparkles,  and out pop the diamonds,  each mountain a new threshold  of sex and love and dreams  do you know my face?  Or will you stare blankly  into the rain, smitten  or miserable?  (Although, theoretically, those emotions  go hand in hand)   
Will the lemon tree we crafted  
be there in the morning,  with the snowman in the sun?  Will the sandcastle be on the beach  after the tide has come in?  They will always live  in my mind -
